THIS ISSUE...
Just thinking about summer time can bring a smile to your face. Fond memories of weeks off from school, great vacations and exciting plans combine to slap a happy grin on your face. But can you easily pull up those thoughts and that smile in your adult life? Making sure you leave time and space in your work days and vacation days for living the life of a kid is a great way to stay on top of your game. Find out how to make that kind of magic in this month’s Know How Network article and our first article in this issue, Have Fun Again. If you need some specific ideas to get your thoughts flowing, then you might want to take a look at our second article Do You Remember How?. And don’t forget to check out our On Par Project Management course in our PDU Corner. It’s a great way to kill two “birdies” in one stroke if you like being out on the greens. And speaking of green, we’re introducing our Green Corner feature this month. Throughout the summer, each Green Corner article will encourage you to take steps to reduce your office’s – and your world’s – carbon footprint. So don’t miss out on all the fun opportunities to choose from this summer. Live each day like you’re a kid again!

When I
Remember the
Magic of
Being a Kid,
I Think of...
Summer time, usually. That last day of school when that long, warm break began. Weeks and weeks of time to sleep, play, explore and have fun. No homework, no projects, no alarm clocks. But it didn’t really matter because you were up close to the crack of dawn each day to pack in as much fun as possible. So when you look back on those “funnest” times being a kid, what do you think of? Click on the link above and let us know. |

Don’t think
“pah-shaw” when it comes to taking a break
from work and your usual pace of life.
Everyone needs to enjoy some do-nothing
time. We are all so good at DOING that we
sometimes forget how to simply BE. Enjoy a
sunset or sunrise, dig your toes into some
sand or watch the fireflies come out to play
at dusk. You’ll be amazed at how refreshed
you feel.
