PM Stock Rises with Lessons Learned
Increase your Project Management “stock options” in 2009 by looking at what you learned last year to see how it can help you make this year even better. Reviewing your lessons learned on professional and personal projects is a great way to see what worked and what didn’t, and to fine tune your techniques for 2009.

Start by asking yourself a few questions about last year:

  • How did I grow last year or improve myself in any way?

  • What parts of my life did I want to be working better than they were?

  • If I could put one issue behind me, forever, what would it be?

Once you have your answers, take a look at what last year taught you and turn it into insight to create a better 2009 for yourself.

If you need a few more questions to ponder, read this month’s Know How Network article, and check out Did I Say That? to see if you need to learn more about interpersonal communication.
