Purpose - The purpose of the Cheetah Network is to help each other out with PM situations that come up at work, share best practices, new PM techniques and resources, explore career opportunities, find talent for your projects, and to expand your circle of success.   We are in the process of upgrading our network structure.   You will be able to opt into the search capabilities and will earn cheetah points with your contributions to others in the network.

Cheetah Network Structure

• Currently we connect with each other through an invitation only discussion forum.   To join the discussion forum, email support. As this network is exclusively for Cheetah Students, let us know the date, location and instructor for your courses. 

• Our networking philosophy is that to be the most effective, networking has to stimulate the free exchange of information, people have to be open to finding ways to be helpful (no matter how small) without expecting remuneration for every lead or tip, and be interested in pursuing opportunities together.  Obviously we don't expect people to work for free, BUT if you have information, resources or connections that can help someone,  be willing to share it with them.  The rewards of this approach are immense since when you connect two people together who can help each other out, you create two reciprocal relationships (i.e. both people now feel some level of wanting to reciprocate the favor).   This is the "pay it forward" concept done on the professional development level and can quickly expand your career success.

• We run networking events around the country where we use the Cheetah Networking technique to help people connect, FAST. These are free to people in Cheetah Network.  Register by signing into your student login and follow the link to the Cheetah Networking event.

• We have associations with companies that specialize in placing PMPs^® in project management positions.  These companies offer resume development services for PMPs^® who used Cheetah Exam Prep, and give them preferential consideration in job placements. When opportunities arise with their customers, they alert the Cheetah network first.  With the Cheetah Network, they have a better chance of getting candidates who have learned how to learn fast, recognize the true value of their time, have demonstrated an ability to make good business decisions by getting their PMP^® certification in a week, and continue their professional development through the Cheetah Network.   You have to be a member of the Cheetah Network to access this service.
