Team and Cheetah Students Share Success and Growth
As 2007 draws to a
close, the Asia-Pacific team thanks all the students
who helped make this year another one of growth in
the region. In New Zealand, the team is busy
preparing for another stellar year and is kicking
around some new ideas to make 2008 another fabulous
year. Weekend PMP prep courses will be offered next
year at the request of students who want to minimize
the impact on project responsibilities of being away
from work for a full week. As well as online PDU
courses, a package of “in class” opportunities will
be offered in the region to ensure a wide choice for
developing PM skills the Cheetah way. And work is
underway to build a one-stop project resource for
organizations, focusing on PMP prep success and
providing more project support for key clients in
the Asia-Pacific region. Thanks to all of you,
again, for a wonderful 2007, and let’s celebrate
another successful year for everyone in 2008.

Cheetah Hats All the Rage at PMI
Global Congress in Cancun
Cheetah licensee Alpha Consultorķa participated in
PMI’s Global Congress Latin America held in Cancun,
Nov. 12-14. The Cheetah booth was wildly successful
with Cheetah hats being the most-wanted item at the
Congress. And even once the congress ended, Cheetah
hats were spotted throughout famous Cancun attractions
like the Mayan ruins of Tulum, Xcaret and Xel-Ha water
parks and even at the famous Playa del Carmen beach
resort.
Cheetah Speed
Meets Flight Speed
Mexicana de Aviacion,
the oldest airline carrier in Latin America and the
second largest in Mexico, requested at least two
in-house training sessions of Cheetah’s Exam Prep for
the PMP®. Approximately 25 Mexicana
students are scheduled to attend each class.
Guanajuato State
Government Requests Cheetah Training
The government of
Mexico’s State of Guanajuato is one of the more
progressive and advanced state governments, as
evidenced by the fact that they currently have a PMO.
The PMO has been in operation for four years now, and
the state government wants nine of their project
managers trained to pass the PMP certification
exam. The course will be held in the famous city of
Guanajuato, a world heritage Unesco site.
