THIS ISSUE...

This month we're focusing on how to make change stick, and we talked about sustainability last month. Let's face it -- sustainability is really about adapting to change and being able to be effective in the midst of it. As an entrepreneur, I've weathered several business cycles, and I've used my Project Management skills to tackle change. Those skills have been invaluable in helping me make positive changes in my businesses. So I'm sharing my tips with you for making change stick. Read both this month's Know How Network article and this issue's first article, Making it Stick, to find out what I've learned over the years about using PM to manage change. Take a look at our second article, You Can Survive Change -- or Thrive on It, to learn how to manage change instead of letting it manage you. Then check out our PDU Corner to see if you have all the right PM tools to handle the changes that come your way. Change is inevitable, but how you respond to it determines whether you survive it or thrive on it.

One of the Changes I'd Like to See Is...
It's almost more comfortable to think about change as something that happens to us. But what if you could make a change magically happen? What would you want to change the most? Click on the link above, and tell us what magical change you would like to see happen.

When it comes to making the most of change, it depends on which side of the field you're on. If you see change as something coming at you, you'll have to defend yourself. But if you look for the good in every change, you'll be on the offensive and ready to move with it when it comes.
