Michelle LaBrosse, PMP, Founder and CEO of
Cheetah Learning, Inc.
Michelle is the CEO of Cheetah Learning and grew the business from a staff of 3 in 2000 to a staff of over 100 by 2003, which she has maintained, even in this tough economic climate (no easy feat). She developed this program in 1997 per request from several colleges who wanted to leverage her experience with using the internet in every facet of starting and running a successful consulting operation. She designed this course so the student through the ten weeks of activities would have the foundation of their business on solid footing. Michelle started her business in 1987 and created and updates this course based on what she has learned in her 23 years running a successful business. She's used the content that is the basis of this course in columns on business start-up for Entrepreneur magazine. Michelle is also the technology contributing co-author of the 1997 Washington State Guide for business start-up. Michelle is a widely sought after keynote speaker on how to set up successful businesses, was selected to participate in Harvard Business School’s prestigious Owner President Managed program for very successful entrepreneurs (and graduated from it three years later in 2006), was awarded the PMI Professional Development Provider of the Year award in 2008. She is a skilled and inspirational teacher that has coached hundreds of people to business success with this course. |

Peter McBride, PMP is a licensee for Cheetah covering
Canada, Europe, Africa and the Middle East. Peter has been in the software
consulting business since 1990. Prior to this, Peter was an accountant, narrowly
escaping that career when he opened his own computer support and training
practice. In addition to his PMP Certification, Peter is certified in Microsoft® software
development tools, and has extensive experience in writing and managing small
project database development. Until recently, McBride Consulting Group Inc.
provided computer hardware and software sales and service, and networking
installation and support. These days, the firm specializes in IT Project
Management, and the delivery of the Cheetah Accelerated Learning system. Peter
sings in a Barbershop Quartet, and considers himself very witty (he is half
right!). This comic approach fits well into the Cheetah philosophy that laughter
aids in the learning process. Peter is also a Rotarian, railroad hobbyist, avid
wine maker, and is rebuilding his 1980 Thunderbird from the ground up.
In his spare time he visits with his wife and 2 dogs, or he occasionally sleeps. |

Jean Steinmetz, PMP,
is Cheetah Learning’s Chief Knowledge Officer,
Project Management Mentor and Business
Development/Career Advisor at Cheetah
Learning. Jean has worked along side Michelle
LaBrosse, the CEO and founder of Cheetah
Learning, since 1997 when this program was
developed and witnessed the business grow from a
small woman-owned training business to a highly
recognized, sought-after, global education
provider with award-winning learning products
and licensees all over the world - using
techniques taught in this class. Jean has also
worked with thousands of our students helping
them first earn their Project Management
credentials then maintain them through further
professional development. She is a key player
in the development of Cheetah's online course
curriculum and led the creation of the Cheetah
Action Project and Project Home Improvement
courses course to bring the PMBOK®
concepts alive on hands on projects where people
could actually use and enjoy what they created
while learning fast and effective project
management techniques. Jean holds a BS from
University of Connecticut and is a member of the
Project Management Institute and has coached
many of our students in developing their own PMO’s for other organizations. Jean has also
worked along side her husband in developing and
expanding their own home-based business which
has continued to grow and thrive each year since
1987 (even through several economic downtimes).
Jean’s greatest joy is helping people reach
their personal and professional goals. |
