This course teaches people how to launch, direct, and manage project teams
using a very fast technique we call "Cheetah Project Management". The methods used are aligned with the ANSI Standard
Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK®
Guide). The course is taught online
and is available over a period of eight weeks. In each lesson,
participants learn a facilitation technique relating to launching,
directing, or tracking their project team's performance. They have an
online instructor who acts as their guide on the side while they practice
new techniques in their own environment. Participants do not need
a high bandwidth internet connection to fully participate in this course - all they need is a
working email account and the ability to view regular html coded websites.

Each module is followed by
a practice session in which
you try what you've learned in your work environment. To become proficient at these powerful
techniques, people need to spend approximately 20 hours studying and practicing the
facilitation methods.
-
The
course includes instructions on how to develop your own Project Management
facilitation kit that you can use for every project launch. -
In order
to get credit for each course, you will have to complete all the
activities to the satisfactory completion of your instructor.
-
For each module we use our online accelerated quality in learning model
- Learn, Do, Check, Act. First you learn the step (the activity
described in each module), next you do what you learned in your own
environment, then you check in with your instructor by reporting
what you experienced by doing what you learned in your own environment,
and lastly you create your action plan of how you're going to use
what you just learned in your project management career.
-
In order order to receive full credit for the course, you will need to
record the date and time you took to do each activity and record this in
your online learning schedule. You will also need to upload
all assignments, along with a learning journal with
the results of your activities and the action plans of your learning, to
Assignment Central for review. In
this journal, please also log the time you spent doing each activity.
-
You can earn 2.0 CEUs or 20 PDUs for completing all 8 modules. These 20 hours count
towards PMI's 35 hour Project Management training requirement for the PMP Eligibility letter.
-
We offer a 100% Learning Guarantee - If
after successfully
completing all the course requirements you feel you can’t use what you
have learned we will refund your money. -
