Course Outline –
This course consists of seven modules where you learn
what it takes to quickly and easily implement Enterprise
Wide Project Management that includes how to gain senior
executive buy-in.
Module One: Key Elements of Enterprise Wide PM - You will learn the key elements that make for fast, effective, and easy Enterprise Wide Project Management implementation aligned with the PMBOK® Guide. You will develop a project agreement to launch an assessment project on the value of Enterprise Wide Project Management in your operation. Module Two: Assessment Plan - You will develop a project agreement to launch an assessment project on the value of Enterprise Wide Project Management in your operation. You will also develop an assessment plan that includes interview worksheets to conduct a corporate wide assessment of your existing Project Management practices. Module Three: "What Is" documentation - You will conduct interviews using your interview worksheets and record the results on standardized formats to document the key elements of Project Management practices done by all departments in your operation. Module Four: Best Practices - you will identify industry standard Project Management best practice and internal best Project Management practices for your operation. Module Five - "What needs to be" - You will establish a minimum set of Project Management practices for the operation and identify gaps in your Project Management practices. Module Six - Enterprise Wide PM Solutions - You will assess options for implementing Enterprise Wide Project Management solutions. Module Seven - Final Assessment Report - You will document the results of the assessment and recommendations for Enterprise Wide Project Management. |
