Course Details

Purpose

Credit - 20 PDUs, 2.0 CEUs

Tuition - $781.00 USD

Start Date - Start Date - The course is available online as soon as we receive full payment. You can start the course after a 2 week orientation period, during which you will need to buy the Cheetah Negotiations book.

Duration - 20 hours - You can complete this course in less than a week (20 hours). However, we give you up to eight weeks (including your 2 week orientation) from the date you register to complete all the course activities.  No extensions will be granted.

Course Location - Online

Access - Instructions provided once payment is received and processed. You will need access to a computer with a fast Internet connection to complete course activities.

Course Material -  In order to complete the course activities, you will need to purchase the "Cheetah Negotiations" book. This book is available on Kindle, on the Nookor in hard copy.  All other material you will need to do the activities is provided online including the 50 question online final exam. If you live outside the US, please consider that it may take two weeks for shipment of the hard copy of the book.

Learn how to get what you want FAST.  In this course, you learn and practice fast and effective Cheetah negotiation strategies and tactics.  You learn strategies where all parties benefit from the interaction (this is one of the keys to getting what you want fast).  You  use what you learn to improve your day-to-day effectiveness in a wide variety of negotiations - from dealing with loved ones, subordinates, co-workers, bosses, merchants, attorneys, and customers. This course includes a negotiation styles self-assessment that will help you understand your negotiating strengths and challenges. The book "Cheetah Negotiations" gives you a further understanding on how you can use your strengths to best position yourself in any situation and come out on top.

Learning Objectives

  • Know your innate negotiating strengths and how to leverage those based on the strengths and weaknesses of those with whom you're negotiating. 

  • Know how to set the stage for a successful negotiation.

  • Be able to navigate through the twists in turns common in many negotiations to bring it to a successful resolution.

  • Understand the contractual elements used to solidify agreements arrived at in negotiations. 

Course Details

  • The course includes a self-assessment that will determine your innate negotiating strengths and weaknesses.  It is based on the work of Barbara Barron Tieger and Paul Tieger, authors of Do What You Are.

  • You will have access to the course content and exam for six weeks (42 calendar days) from the date your payment is received/processed.

  • The Course Completion Certificate will be awarded to participants who complete all the course activities which includes passing a 50-question assessment.  The assessment will be auto scored and if you achieved a passing score (70% or greater) you will be awarded the course completion certificate.

  • Upon successfully passing the exam, participants receive an email to complete a short online evaluation.  Once you complete and submit the evaluation, your course completion certificate will be available to view/print from your MyCheetah page under the transcripts tab.
