Course Outline – This course
consists of four modules where you learn how to create negotiated agreements
that enable all parties to get what they want, FAST.
Cast of Characters - You will take a "personality styles"
indicator customized for your negotiation style and learn how
to read other people's style so you
can best negotiate with them.
Module Two: Setting the Stage - You
will use a step by step process to analyze all parties' desired outcomes and the
options for arriving at those outcomes.
The Plot - There are basic responses people will have to various
situations that arise in negotiations. In this module you will learn how
to respond to those basic responses and tactics that can enable all parties to
leave the table with what they want.
Curtain Up -
You will learn how to finalize the terms of your negotiation to ensure all
parties live "happily ever after." Your first activity is to develop
effective techniques for talking money during the final stages of a negotiation.
The second activity is identifying and developing standard boiler plate
contracts that you can use in the various types of negotiations you encounter.
The last activity has you do a dress rehearsal from beginning to end for a
negotiation based on everything you learned in the course.
