Course
Details |
-
The course
is designed so you first initiate and plan your On Par Project Management golf project (you are
given the instructions and templates to do this from the course Web site
when you register). Next, you execute your project plan to play 10 rounds
of golf. While you are playing each round of golf, you do milestone reviews
and measure the performance of your project by doing earned value analyses
(again, you are instructed how to do this via the course Web site. You end
the course by completing a final acceptance test (you complete all your
rounds) and documenting your lessons learned.
-
You can do
the course at your own pace. You have up to 15 weeks access to the content,
materials, your online instructor and will be able to access your new skills
indefinitely.
-
For each
module, we use our online accelerated Quality in Learning Model - Learn, Do,
Check, Act. First you learn the step (the activity described in each
module), next you do what you learned in your project, then
you check in with your instructor by reporting what you experienced
while doing what you learned, and finally you create your action plan
describing how you're going to use what you just learned in your project
management career.
-
In order
to receive full credit for the
course, you will need to record the date and time you took to do each
activity and record this in your online learning schedule. You will also
need to upload all assignments to Assignment Central for instructor review
and feedback along with a learning
journal with the results of your activities and the action plans of your
learning. In this journal, please also log the time you spent doing each
activity.
- We recommend you commit at least five (5) hours per week to completing this
course. You can complete the course and play all your rounds in sixty
hours. You can play multiple rounds in a week or you can spread it out
over a period of 15 weeks. This is a fun project, so you'll likely
complete it less than 15 weeks.
- We offer a 100%
Learning Guarantee
– If after successfully completing all the course requirements you feel
you can’t use what you have learned we will refund your money.
- We are IACET
Certified (you can earn CEUs with our course) and a PMI®
R.E.P. (you can earn PDUs with our course).
