Purpose

Credit - 35 PDUs, 3.5 CEUs

Tuition - $2100 USD

Start Date - The course is available online and you can start the course as soon as we receive full payment.

Duration  - 35 hours - You can complete this course in less than a week (35 hours). However, we recognize that you may be juggling a career and family so we give you eight weeks from the date you register to complete all the course activities. If you need an extension to finish this course, you can purchase an additional week for 1/4 the list price of the course.

Did you know that energy prices in all sectors are forecasted to double AGAIN over the next five years?  Becoming more energy self-sufficient with a sustainable system that is right for you and your business will create long term security for your family and for those for whom you work.  In this 35 hour online course you learn how to assess your current energy usage, ways you can cost effectively and efficiently reduce your energy usage without making significant lifestyle changes, various alternative energy options that are right for your situation, and implementation strategies for your own energy self-sufficiency program that will help you create a more secure future.   This course can be taken alone, or as the first part of our Project Energy Professional certification program that will demonstrate to future clients and employers that you have the requisite skills to lead energy improvement and renewable energy projects.   This course is designed for people who may not have a deep technical background to quickly grasp and apply the concepts.

For those who hold the PMP credential or have earned the CAPM credential going through the Cheetah PM Fundamentals certificate program, earn the Project Energy Professional Level 1 certificate by successfully passing  this course.

Learning Objectives

  • Develop the skills to quickly and competently assess current and future energy usage for your home and your business. 

  • Establish ways to align your energy use with what you actually need.  Set up systems that allow the correct application of energy based on evolving lifestyle and business needs.

  • Select renewable energy options that will cost effectively work for your specific situation and create long term energy independence.

  • Know how to plan and implement an energy self-sufficiency project. 

Course Details

  • The course includes numerous worksheets that help you analyze your energy needs and potential energy alternatives.   It is a practical hands on course where you will create a plan for becoming energy independent that will work for you.  

  • You can do the course at your own pace and you have access to your instructor and the course content for eight weeks.

  • For each module we use our online accelerated quality in learning model - Learn, Do, Check, Act. First you learn the step (the activity described in each module), next you do what you learned in your own environment, then you check in with your instructor by reporting what you experienced by doing what you learned in your own environment, and lastly you create your action plan of how you're going to use what you just learned in your project management career.

  • In order to get the full credit for the course, you will need to keep a learning journal with the results of your activities and the action plans of your learning. In this journal, please also log the time you spent doing each activity.   You will also need to pass the exam at the end of the course with a score of 70% or better.

  • We recommend you commit at least five hours per week to completing this course.   You can complete course in thirty five hours (less than a week if you work 5 hours a day on it), or you can spread it out over a period of eight weeks.  

  • We are IACET Certified (you can earn CEUs with our course) and a PMI® R.E.P. (you can earn PDUs with our course).
