What is the format for your online courses?

  • Our online course format is easy to use and provides all the worksheets and examples you need to document your course progress and communicate with your instructor.
  • Each course is comprised of three to ten modules with several activities per module.
  • It takes approximately five hours to complete the activities in each module.
  • Each module uses our Online Accelerated Quality in Learning Model - Learn, Do, Check, Act. 
  • First, you learn the theory of the concepts presented in each module. 

  • Next, you do activities to improve your effectiveness in your environment. 

  • Then you check in with your instructor by sending your completed worksheets and updated "Learning Journal" to report what you experienced.

  • Finally, you reflect on what you learned by creating your action plan describing how you're going to apply what you just learned in your work.

  • Both research and experience show that people learn faster and remember more if they actually apply what they learn in their own environment.
  • We use the Internet to create advanced Project Management courses with a coach who is your guide, while you learn and practice new PM skills in your day-to-day life.
  • This style of learning produces very consistent and high quality learning.

How long have you been offering courses online?

  • We have successfully used this approach for learning since 1995.

What type of Internet connection do I need?

  • You will need a fast connection.

What software do I need to complete activities?

  • Our courses use common document types:  Microsoft Word Document , Microsoft PowerPoint Document , Microsoft Excel Document , Adobe Acrobat PDF , Microsoft Project Document 

How long do I get to complete the course?

  • You can complete this course in less than a day with 5 hours worth of effort.

  • We recognize that you may be juggling a career and family so we give you up to two weeks from the date you register to complete all the course activities.

What if I need an extension?

  • If you need an extension to finish this course, you can purchase an additional week for 1/4 the list price of the course.  Simply send an email to your instructor and s/he will put you in touch with a customer service representative who will take your credit card information to process your extension fee.

How can I earn free or discounted training?

  • Cheetah offers a program called Cheetah Points - our way of saying Thank You to our Loyal Customers.

  • You can enroll through your My Cheetah page. Go to the student login and enter your email address and password. In the My Cheetah page, you can start referring people for courses.

  • Collect Cheetah Points; Save on Cheetah Courses; Each Cheetah Point is equivalent to $1.00 towards Cheetah courses and you can earn as many Cheetah Points as you can accumulate!

Collect Cheetah Points by: Referrals - When the person you refer takes a Cheetah course, you earn from 10 to 50 Cheetah Points and the person you referred gets a $10 to $50 discount depending on the course they choose. (Not available in conjunction with other promotions.); Focus Group Participation: You earn 50 Cheetah Points for participating in our focus groups; Completing Courses Evaluations: You earn from 10 to 50 Cheetah Points depending on the course after completing our course evaluations.

  • Using them is easy - they are stored in our secure server.  You will have access to your Cheetah Points at any time...either to see how many you've accumulated or to redeem them for course discounts from your My Cheetah page.  When you register for any Cheetah course, after you've entered your contact information, you'll be given an opportunity to confirm your registration and your available Cheetah Points will be displayed. You can use as many as you want up to the full price of the course.  Note:  Cheetah Points cannot be used in conjunction with other promotions.)

  • How can I register?

    • From our home page (www.cheetahpm.com) , select the course you're interested in, click on it, then click on register. You will have the option to select credit card or pay by check option. You can also register by telephone at 1-800-246-9106.

    What are my payment options?

    • We accept American Express, MasterCard, Visa, personal or company checks.

    • It is best to pay by credit card (using our secure server) to ensure immediate access to your course.

    • If you wish to pay by check, register online and select the pay by check option. You will receive an invoice via email which you can use to help prompt payment back at your company or at home. Check payments should be mailed to the remittance address on the invoice.

    Can I register and pay for my course now and start later?

    • You will gain access to your course as soon as payment is received.  If you will not be starting the course right away, send an email to your online instructor with an expected start date so s/he can extend your course access accordingly.

    How and when do I get access to my course?

    • Once payment has been received, an e-mail will be sent to you with the course link, login information, your instructor's name and e-mail address.

    • There is no lag time - as soon as your payment has been processed you gain immediate access to your course and online instructor.

    What are Cheetah's Credentials?

    • IACET Certified (you can earn CEUs with our courses)

    • PMI® R.E.P. (you can earn PDUs with our courses)

    How do I register my courses with PMI®?

    • Once your online instructor feels that you have successfully completed the course requirements, you will receive an email to complete an online evaluation.

    • Upon completing the online evaluation, your course certificate will be available to view/print from your My Cheetah account under the transcripts tab.

    • The course certificate will have all the information you need to report your PDUs to PMI®.

    What is Cheetah's Guarantee?

    • We offer a 100% Learning Guarantee – If after successfully completing all the course requirements you feel you can’t use what you have learned we will refund your money.
