Purpose  

Students learn to estimate costs using standard formulas and develop a cost baseline for their project. They practice Earned Value Management formulas to judge project cost and schedule performance and finally calculate variances and determine causes and corrective actions.
 

Learning Objectives

  • Calculate the cost of specific tasks using PERT formula.

  • Integrate costs to formulate a cost baseline.

  • Measure project performance based on progress and using Earned Value Measure Formulas.

  • Assess project variance, its causes and determine corrective action.

Program Details

  • We teach this course onsite.  Class size is limited to a maximum of 10 people.
  • This is a hands-on course. 
  • We are IACET Certified and a PMI® Registered Education Provider (earn CEUs and PDUs).

    Students who complete the entire course, and use the tools and techniques they learned in the course at least one time within two (2) weeks of course completion, will improve their ability to estimate costs using standard formulas and develop a cost baseline for their projects.  If they do not improve, we will refund the course fees you paid for them to take the course.
