Students pass the new PMP® exam with flying colors, thanks to Cheetah Learning
If you’re in the market for the PMP® certification, Cheetah Learning offers a patent pending accelerated exam preparation method that helps any potential PMP® candidate pass the PMP® exam in one week - guaranteed.

Over the past six months, Cheetah Learning instructors observed the diet, exercise, lifestyle, and learning techniques that most efficiently and effectively enabled their students to successfully pass the PMP® exam. Instructors modified the course to include components developed in their patent pending accelerated exam prep method. These components are referred to as peak performing mind, rapid synthesis, and relaxed focus. As part of the course orientation, students are instructed how to develop their own plan to incorporate these success tips. The instructors follow through by implementing these strategies in class to insure that their students' minds are in peak condition to perform well on the exam.

These and other modifications are used so that each and every student who participates in the program successfully becomes PMP® certified. Cheetah Learning has a stake in each student's success, due to the fact that if a student doesn't pass the exam the cost of the retest is covered. Also, each student's Cheetah PMP® Coach develops a customized study program and follows up, sometimes on a daily basis, until the student become a PMP®.

Cheetah Learning offers their Accelerated PMP® program in numerous cities every month throughout the United States, Canada, India, Asia, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand. To register, go to www.cheetahlearning.com, or call 888-659-2013.

Course Modifications Improve Pass Rate
by Michelle LaBrosse, CEO Cheetah Learning
Motivated by several external factors, and our own commitment to continuous improvement, we have made two significant modifications that have improved our course. We have always offered a course orientation kit to help our students prepare themselves logistically, mentally, physically, and emotionally for the intense immersion approach we use in our program. We've expanded the orientation kit to include an online course that satisfies PMI®'s requirement for 35 hours of basic Project Management training. If you don't yet have the 35 hours required for PMI®'s eligibility application, you can participate in our instructor-backed online program at no cost, after you register for our accelerated PMP® program.

Over the past several months we've been experimenting with a rapid synthesis technique we call "key word analysis". We had a little motivation to roll out this technique in our course, when a small portion of our material was challenged in a copyright infringement lawsuit by a competitor. While we view this allegation as completely false, due to the fact that our material is based on the PMBOK® and 30 other references we researched in order to develop the course, it did encourage us to roll out this new and  very effective technique. The technique has worked well, and we teach the course easily and without the aid of the material cited in the case. Of the past five courses we've taught, four had a 100% passing rate, and nine out of ten people passed the exam in the fifth course.

We've had several concerned students call us because our competitor sent out a press release  regarding these unproven allegations. Rest assured, as PMP®s we had a contingency plan in place. Our course is better than ever, and we do not have to cancel classes because of these false allegations. Our program is still the fastest way to become a PMP®, and we are expanding our calendar to meet our increasing demand. Cheetah Learning remains the best resource for you to obtain your PMP® certification, quickly and effectively.

Cheetah Learning partners with VSSI
As an example of the company’s rapid growth, Cheetah Learning is expanding its Accelerated Project Management courses on the international level, with new programs now being held in India. Cheetah Learning has recently partnered with VED Software Services, Inc., or VSSI, a company based in Farmington Hills, Michigan with offices in India, Singapore, and Japan.

Michelle LaBrosse, PMP, Founder and CEO of Cheetah Learning and author of Accelerated Project Management, was in Chennai, India the week of March 11th to organize and promote her continually successful courses in Project Management. LaBrosse and Sampath H.S., President and CEO of VSSI, are working collaboratively to make PMP® certification in India more easily accessible in order to successfully and wholly compete in the global marketplace.

Accelerated Project Management on shelves now!
In her new book, Accelerated Project Management, Michelle LaBrosse, PMP, Founder and CEO of Cheetah Learning, shares her extensive knowledge of Accelerated Project Management techniques by taking the reader through the process of a project, using step-by-step instructions on how to work with a project team to use the powerful effects of visual facilitation, a technique that is the cornerstone of Accelerated Project Management.

The book provides a tone that is easy to understand, without unnecessary jargon, and through the demonstration of a case study, readers experience first-hand how a project team can work through a project together to quickly deliver high caliber results.

Accelerated Project Management is available through HNB Publishing. For more information on how you can get a copy, go to HNB Publishing.

Feature PMP® of the month

Each month Cheetah News features a newly certified PMP®, who shares his or her ideas, insight, and experience with potential PMP®s considering certification.

Terry Parker, PMP
Over the last few years, Terry Parker of Boulder, Colorado has worked as both a consultant and a full-time employee, mostly in software development and implementation. Her experience has been varied, spanning many industries including healthcare, bioinformatics, insurance, financials, and energy. Parker recently took and passed the PMP® certification exam on March 22. Parker took the exam hoping that the certification would help her branch out into other areas of Project Management, specifically recruiting, training, or construction.

Parker had been using the concepts and processes of Project Management for some time, but recently became motivated to take the exam since she was laid off from the bioinformatics company she had been working for. "I had downloaded the Accelerated Learning Techniques white paper from Cheetah’s website and I was intrigued by the teaching methods it discussed," Parker said. "The guarantee they offered was also extraordinary. After I signed up I found out a friend of mine had been through the Cheetah PMP® training and recommended it wholeheartedly. We had been through another PMP® prep course together over a year ago and he went through the Cheetah course and got his PMP® on the first try, so he was excited. That really sold me!"

Parker took another PMP® preparatory course a year and a half ago, but did not take the PMP® exam right away. The difference between the two courses, Parker explains, is a matter of timing. The other course helped her determine what areas to study, but she had to manage hours and hours of studying on her own. The Cheetah Learning course not only recommended areas to study, but also offered sample tests, coaching, and study help to get through all of the material in one week. Parker found the support from the Cheetah Learning team extremely helpful, in that they gave her an intensive, rigorous training and study preparation, so that by the end of the week she was ready to take the exam. Not only did the team help her with the study preparation, they also gave her the encouragement and confidence she needed to face the notoriously difficult exam.

"I knew the PMP® exam was difficult," Parker said. "And it was - but taking the Cheetah course and then taking the exam immediately after, as they recommend, really does work. It not only gave me the knowledge I needed to pass but also the confidence to know that I was going to pass the day I walked into the testing center. And I didn’t just squeak by either - I did extremely well on the exam with their help and coaching."

Terry Parker is now a certified PMP®. She had been unemployed for the past eight months, and credits getting the PMP® through the Cheetah Learning program with helping her land a job just two weeks after becoming certified. She brings her new found credential to work for her with a new job as a Project Manager for Anthem Blue Cross/Blue Shield in Denver, Colorado. With her fifteen years of experience in Project Management and her strong background in management, staffing, and technical support, along with her PMP® credential, Parker feels confident about her future as a PMP®.
