The Certified Virtual Leader Program Details
- Credits: 60 Cheetah Spots/PDUs – The Certified Virtual Leader Program is 60 hours online. It is designed for you to integrate the skills you learn into your day-to-day life by doing five to ten hours of skill-based activities per week. You can finish this program in as quick as ten days, however, we recognize that you may be juggling a career and family so we give you up to twelve weeks from the course start date you select to complete all the activities.
- Tuition: $6,250 USD – Contact Us about corporate, government or group rates or create your installment payment plan with Affirm.
- Access: Once we have received payment in full, you will be provided instructions on how to access the program. The course is delivered online. You complete the activities in your own environment with your actual virtual team. You can start the Certified Virtual Leader program as soon as your registration is complete or you can wait until your selected course start date to start. You must complete the course within 12 weeks of your selected course start date. Because we are validating you are a Certified Virtual Leader, you must complete the program within 12 weeks of your start date – we do not grant extensions.
- Material: In order to complete the program activities, you will need to have the Cheetah Project Management and the Cheetah Negotiations books. They are available within the class in a PDF file format. Or if you prefer you can acquire them in Kindle format. All other materials you will need to do the activities are provided online.
- Credential – after completing the course activities to the satisfaction of your Cheetah Leadership coach and passing the final exam, you will have earned the Certified Virtual Leader (CVL) credential through Accredible and can post it associated with your Linkedin Account, use the initials CVL after your name. You can include it on your resume, business cards, and signature lines.

.What is the format for your online programs?
- Our online program format is easy to use and provides all the worksheets and examples you need to complete the program.
- Each module uses our Online Accelerated Quality in Learning Model – Learn, Do, Check, Act.

- First, you learn the theory of the concepts presented in each module.
- Next, you do activities in your environment by applying what you learned to complete the program activities.
- Then you check to be sure you have grasped the concepts in each module before moving on and updating your online learning schedule.
- Finally, you reflect on what you learned by creating action plans describing how you’re going to use your new knowledge to successfully manage projects in your work and personal life.

How long have you been offering programs online?

What type of equipment do I need?
You will need an Internet connection and access to a computer to download the program material and complete the assessment exams at the end of each module.
What software do I need to complete activities?
Our programs use common document types: Microsoft Word Document, Microsoft Excel Document, and Adobe Acrobat PDF.
What program material do I need to complete the activities?
In order to complete the program activities, you will need a copy of the books Cheetah Project Management by Michelle LaBrosse, PMP and Cheetah Negotiations by Michelle LaBrosse, PMP and Linda Lansky, PMP which we will send to you when you register for the program. All other material you will need to do the activities is provided online, including the 50-question online final exam. If you live outside the US, you will have to pay extra for the cost to ship the book to you. Please allow two weeks for shipment.
How long do I get to complete the program?
- You can complete the program in less than a week with 60 hours worth of effort.
- It can take up to two weeks for the program texts to arrive and we recognize that you have other responsibilities so we give you up to 12 weeks (84 calendar days) from the date you register to complete all the program activities. You are taking this program in part to demonstrate to others you have the skills to get things done fast therefore, we push you to complete the program in the time allocated and for this reason we do not offer extensions. You have ample time in twelve weeks to master the material in the program.
- You can register for this program and delay your start date up to a month. Please let us know as soon as you register if you are choosing to delay your start date and when you wish to start.
How can I register?
You can register online here. You will have the option to select credit card or pay by check option. You can also register by telephone at 1-844-800-4767. If you chose the pay by check option, you will be allowed to access the program once the check clears our bank.
What are my payment options?
- We accept American Express, MasterCard, Visa, personal or company checks.
- It is best to pay by credit card (using our secure server) to ensure immediate access to your program.
- If you wish to pay by check, register online and select the pay by check option. You will receive an invoice via email which you can use to help prompt payment back at your company or at home. Check payments should be mailed to the remittance address on the invoice.
Can I register and pay for my program now and start later?
You will gain access to your program as soon as payment is received. Please contact your Course Instructor once you’ve gained access to let him or her know you wish to start later.
How and when do I get access to my program?
- Once payment has been received, an email will be sent to you with the program link and login information.
- There is no lag time – as soon as your payment has been processed you gain immediate access to your program.
How do I obtain the Program Completion Certificate?
- Once you have completed all the program activities to the satisfaction of your Cheetah Career Coach, and you have passed all the assessment exams with a score of 70% or higher, you will receive an email to complete an online evaluation. If you do not get this email you can find the link from your “MyCheetah” page under the Transcripts Tab.
- Upon completing the online evaluation, your program completion certificate will be available to view/print fr om your “MyCheetah” account under the transcripts tab.
What if I am not satisfied with the program?
If after completing all the program activities and passing all program exams, for any reason you are not happy with the program, we will fully refund what you paid to take the class. You will not be able to claim credit for the program. If you have additional questions, please Contact Us
How can I earn free or discounted training?
Cheetah offers a program called Cheetah Points – our way of saying “Thank You” to our loyal customers.
You can enroll through your My Cheetah page. Go to the student login and enter your email address and password. In the My Cheetah page, you can start referring people for courses.
Collect Cheetah Points and save on Cheetah courses. Each Cheetah Point is equivalent to $1 USD towards Cheetah courses, and you can earn as many Cheetah Points as you can accumulate!
Collect Cheetah Points by:
- Referrals: When the person you refer takes a Cheetah course, you earn from 10 to 50 Cheetah Points and the person you referred gets a $10 to $50 discount depending on the course they choose. (Not available in conjunction with other promotions.)
- Completing Courses Evaluations: You earn from 10 to 50 Cheetah Points depending on the course after completing our course evaluations.
Using Cheetah Points is easy – they are stored in our secure server. You have twelve weeks to complete this course once you start it. Upon successful completion, you are granted permission to use the world renowned Cheetah Learning brand by calling yourself a Certified Virtual Leader and placing the CVL designation after your name. To do this, you must complete the course in the allotted time. We are very firm on this policy. If you do not complete the course in twelve weeks, you will not be granted an extension. You must complete all the course activities to the satisfaction of your Cheetah Coach and pass all the exams successfully. Then, you will be able to call yourself a CVL and use the Certified Virtual Leader badge on all your professional identification materials. You can request a refund within 72 hours of registering if you don’t feel this is the right program for you. Once you start the course, there are no refunds.
